25 Years Later

It’s hard to believe it’s been 25 years since I opened the doors to welcome our first guests to breakfast. During that time, I have visited almost every table every morning to share my innkeeper insights about what’s going on around town.

Weekly Dispatch

Some guests visit Ashland just once; others return here year after year. But one request keeps coming up: “Graham, can you tell us what’s new and interesting in Ashland?”

Twenty-five years on, I’m finally putting pen to page—virtually. This is my first weekly dispatch—a way to share insider innkeeper insights, as I’ve done at breakfast for all these years.

Cultural Renaissance

As an innkeeper, I've had a front row seat to Ashland for a very long time, and a cultural renaissance is underway as I’ve never seen before.

After a few bumpy years, I’m thrilled to report that the Bard is back, big time, with a full slate of shows from classic Shakespeare to new works.

Just as important, Ashland is bustling with new chefs, winemakers, musicians, shopkeepers, and local guides to everything, from river trips to wine trails. On your next visit, I’m sure you will feel Ashland’s newfound energy.

I hope you enjoy my weekly updates. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact me personally. I look forward to serving you at breakfast soon.
